Jeremiah O'Brien settled in Thames, Coromandel, Waikato, New Zealand. He married his wife Bridget Collins in 1902 and had 4 children, Jeremiah died, 13 Aug 1917, Thames, Coromandel, Waikato, New Zealand. He is buried with his wife Bridget at Buffalo Cemetery.
