John Corr was born in 1864 to John Corr Snr. and Ellen Walsh. He married twice.
On the 2nd of February 1892 in Cashel, John married Catherine Geaney. Catherine passed away a year later in 1893; no record of a child has been found to date.
John went on to marry Johanna Darcy from Kiltinan. They had 4 children together; Ellen alias Sr. Mary Rita born the 29th February 1895, Mary Dunne born the 16th of May 1897, John alias Jack born the 6th of June 1899 and James born the 11th of June 1900.
John's second wife, Johanna, passed away from tuberculosis on the 28th of February 1901 at the age of 25.
John passed away on the 12th of July 1931 at his home on the side of the famous Slievenamon Mountain in the townsland of Cappadrummin, Kiltinan, Fethard.
