I am also a direct descendant of John and Lawrence. My family tree only goes to Lawrence at the moment but I'm adding John and Rose. I can't find very much info on them and I don't know who their parents are, but I will continue to search so I can learn my family history. I find it fascinating.
John Dolan's son, Lawrence, emigrated to Worcester, Massachusetts in 1848. My wife is a direct decendent of John and Lawrence. Lawrence's naturalization papers give his birthplace as Drumshanbo. I've identified, from Griffith's Valuation, several John Dolans within 10 miles (16 km) of Drumshanbo. John also had a daughter, Mary, who emigrated. John's wife was Rose Ford.
