John Dorian was a farmer in Legnawley Glebe in Inver Parish, County Donegal. Griffiths Valuation shows both a John Jr and John Sr farming in Legnawley Glebe, so I believe his father's name was John.
John married Mary Gallagher (1820-1904) in 1838. Their son, Charles Dorian (1853-1935), is my great grandfather. Charles emigrated to Saint Mary's, Ohio around 1870 or 71. John and Mary's other children were James (1839-19200, Patrick (1845-1905), Francis (1857-19380), Mary (1862-?) and Alice (1864-1945).
I am interested in finding out who John's parents were and also in learning Mary Gallagher's birthplace and parents' names.
