i have a john tully from crosslough parish maried to my gg granaunt ann lynch from lurgan
Born at Mullaghmore, Castlerahan, Ballyjamesduff, Co. Cavan. Parents Bernard (Bryan/Brian) and Jane Tully (née Wright). Siblings were Mary Jane (b. 1870), Bridget (b. 1872), Hugh (b. 1874). John is first recorded in Dublin in the 1911 Census. He married Violet Mary Kelly in Dublin in March 1916 and they subsequently had a large family.
John's descendants would like to find out more about his parents. We know that Bernard died on 6 December 1896 and Jane on 20 July 1906, both at Mullaghmore where they had a small farm. They are buried together in the Old Cemetery beside the former National School but their marriage record has so far not been traced. Without this we can learn little of the Wright family.
To know when and where they were born would be icing on the cake. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
