John and his brother James shared a 90 acre land commonage with 5 others leased from De Vere Hunt in 1850 during Griffith Land valuation. James’s branch may have emigrated.

My great grandparents Bridget** (1835 - 10.07.1908) married Thomas Fox (1829 – 2.1.1920 in Hollyford 11.2.1862     

Bridget's sisters Ally, Catherine, Mary, Johanna all renowned singers emigrated to Australia on assisted passage in 1880.

No contact was ever made until recently when their descendant Jennifer Dawson NSW contacted Irish Clan Search to renew the contact and rendering of the "croppy boy" and "Eamon an Cnoic". Eamon  (Ned of the Hills) was an infamous raparee who was killed in 1770's in Foilaclug by his safe house guardian for a ransom that had been rescinded by Colonel Maude 2 weeks previously.
