His middle name may have been James. As far as I know he and his wife Johanna Shea (sometimes written as O'Shea) never left Ireland. However their son John Francis Crowley left for NYC in the early 1900s).
Looking for information about my gr grandfather, John James Crowley (1853-1915) who married Johanna Shea, sometimes listed as O'Shea, (1856-1915). Together they had 12 children, including my grandfather John Francis Crowley (1886-1969).
