From his death records (which I have a copy of) John was born in 1835 in Armagh. His parents are James Kerr/Carr and Elizabeth Murdoch/Murdock. He arrived in Brisbane, Australia in 1863 onboard the "Legion of Honour". I have no information about John or his parents from his time in Ireland. John is my 2nd great grandfather and my brick wall.
