This is my grandfather, John Matthews born 26 December 1858 at 16 North King Street, Dublin.  Baptism took place

at St Michan's RC Church, Dublin.  He eventually arrived in Australia, having become a shipwright in Liverpool, UK.   

The family moved there around 1861.    As his son (my father) also John Matthews, looked similar to him, I was wondering

if  my great grandfather, Dominick Matthews may have looked like him as well.   Do I have some Matthews relatives still in 

Ireland?   I don't know.  I've never been able to find any Matthews named ancestors.   Dominick Matthews was a tailor and died in 1864

in Liverpool, UK.
