My Great Great Grandfather came from Newtownsandes Kerry, born about 1810 give or take, I am in the belief that his mother is Catherine Kennelly and father Patrick Walsh. I also beleive that he had a brother named Patrick born 9 April 1815 also listed as Listowel. There were not any names listed for Newtownsandes for those days as John was said to be from NewtownSandes as it is listed on his Grave stone.
John Walsh had a son named Patrick my Great Grandfather born about 1831 in Kerry, as of yet I have not found a Patrick connected to my John Walsh. I also am in the belief that John married a Lady named Enright, some say it was Julia Enright But I believe it was Mary Enright. Also there is a Mary Stack born to a Ellen Shanahan and a Mr Richard Stack on 8 Jan 1832 in Kilbaha, Listowel Kerry. Her father must have passed away as her mother Ellen Shanahan Remarried to a Mr George Gregory. They had several children born in Ireland and they also came to ther USA about 1849 to central Ky USA with their 2 daughters. Mary Stack came to the USA to Ky with her half brother Richard Gregory on 27 feb 1852 thru New Orleans Louisiana. Mary Catherine Stack married Patrick Walsh my Great Grandfather in Paris ky about 1853. I would like to converse with anyone that has more information even if they wish to question my dates etc or parents of these people listed.
