WHICH JOHN TOOMEY??

From the information gathered on two John Toomey's entering NSW as convicts it seems most likely that the one arriving per "Dorothy" was in the vicinity of Yass, NSW for the birth of his daughters. The John Toomey who arrived per " Mermaid", although in Yass in 1839, was reassigned to areas near Sydney from 1840-47, when three of the four daughters were born near Yass.
