I invite you to visit my Ancestry.com family tree (Sholl/Jackson Family Tree) for multiple sources of information: https://www.ancestry.com/family-tree/person/tree/3849522/person/1823162…

JOSEPH JACKSON and his wife, ANNE are my 3rd great-grandparents. The family immigrated to Canada in 1832 (written family history had it that their son, Joseph, death date 1832, died on the ship during the immigration). On 7 Jul 1832, Joseph bought 100 acres of land in Trafalger, Halton, Ontario, Canada. Joseph and Anne were members of the Church of England. They lived out the rest of their lives in Trafalger. They are buried at Saint Stephen's Anglican Cemetery, Halton Hills, Halton Regional Municipality, Ontario, Canada.

Children include:

JOHN - 1807-1811
MARY ANN - 1808-1891. Married Joseph Cunningham in Canada.
MARGARET - 1810-1810
JOHN - 1811-1884 (my 2nd great-grandfather). Married Mary Jackson in Ireland about 1840.
JANE - 1813-1900. Married Andrew Cunningham in Canada.
ROBERT - 1815-1815
SOPHIA - 1816-1877. Married Michael T. Griffin in Canada.
ELIZABETH - 1819-1838. Elizabeth was buried next to her parents and I have found no records of a marriage.
JOSEPH - 1821-1832. Family history says he died on the ship in transit to Canada.

    RE:  JOSEPH and ANNE JACKSON.

    1)  While I cannot find immigration records, I do have lots of supporting documentation in Canada and am confident on the family information.  The family arrived in Trafalger, Halton, Ontario, Canada in or about 1832 and bought land in July of 1832.

    2)  I have searched and searched for information on Joseph's wife's (Anne) surname, parent names, and siblings.  I am coming up blank.

    3) Another Jackson researcher has found baptismal records for some of the family's chirldren in Ballymagerny, Loughall, Armagh, Ireland.

    4) I have found an 1830 Tax Assessment for a Joseph Jackson in Ballymagerny, County Armgagh, Ireland.

Does anyone have any clues for me??
