    One of 10 children - emigrated to South Africa around the mid 1880's & was followed by his brother Robert McFarland King (1862:1903) a couple of years later.

    Was married twice - 1st marriage was to Barabra Amelia Marshall (1868:1896) with whom he had 1 daughter, Ida Francis Evelyn King (m. Stanley Muller). 2nd marriage was to her sisiter Mary Marcella Mashall (1869:1962) with whom he had 2 children, Barbara Norah Marcella King (m. Lawrence Meyer / m. Arthur Ellis) & Joseph William King 2 (m. Dora Anne Wolff).

    Buried in Maclear, South Africa.
