Julia HARRINGTON was born in County Cork, Ireland in 1838 according to her obituary.  She came to the United States with her parents about 1845 and they settled in New Diggings, Lafayette County, Wisconsin. 

At the age of 17, she married  John Mark LEARY [born in County Cork, Ireland in 1825].  Later they moved to their homestead near Wiota, Wisconsin.  They had nine children including, Julia, John, Frank, Daniel, Ellie, Julia, and Joseph.  

Julia HARRINGTON LEARY's husband, John died on July 14, 1905, and was buried in Holy Rosary Cemetery, Darlington, Lafayette County, Wisconsin, USA. Julia died in January 1921.
