Julia married my great-great grandfather in Kilmeaden on December 1855. She and her sister moved to Yorkshire, England and each began families and worked in the booming textile industry. I am not sure what my great-great grandfather was doing in Ireland at this time as migration was generally out of Ireland and into either Great Britain or the USA.
Julia’s father was Peirse Keane. Her sister was Johanna.
