According to English Census records Julia was born in Kildare about 1828.  She may have been baptised in 1826 (!) in Ballymore Eustace as Julie Lenehan and her parents named as Danl and Mary.  In 1851 Julia lived near Bradford, West Yorkshire and married James Jenkins on Aug 8th at St Peter's in Bradford.  There she is named Julia Lanham, but I'm told this was incorrect.  Julia died in 1892 at the Union Workhouse, Lockwood, Huddersfield, West Yorkshire.

I don't know the correct spelling of Julia's surname as she couldn't sign her name on her marriage certificate and probably had a strong Irish accent.

James Jenkins was born in Dublin about 1829.  His parents may be Thomas and Mae/Mary/Margaret.

In my family history research Julia has been the two surnames above and Leneghan, Lenghan, Lankin and Lannihan on various birth certificates etc.

Julia and James Jenkins' children wre James, Mary Anne and my Great Grandad James.

If anyone has any information on my Great, Great Grandparents I'd be most grateful as I know a fair amount about Betsy Jane Clifford, whom my Great Grandad James married.  All I have about my Irish family are their names (almost,) their marriage, children and when they died.

Thank you,  Patricia
