Ballybofey: Brown/Boyle

My maternal great-grandmother was MARGARET BROWN born abt. 1839, Donegal).  Her parents were FRANCIS MICHAEL BROWN and ANNABELLE(A) MACLEANEY(sp?) .  Parents details come from Margaret's marriage certificate and mother's surname is difficult to decipher, see attached file.  Margaret m THOMAS PRICE in 1863, Victoria, Australia.

When visiting Ireland as a child in 1960, we went to Ballybofey to see my grandmother's "cousin". REV. JOHN BOYLE.  He was no longer alive but an elderly gentleman we met in the main street said that he had been taught by Rev. Boyle.  We were directed to the school where he'd taught and also to his burial site.  I also visited Ballybofey in 2014 and again visited the old schoolhouse, where a very old gentleman showed us a number of items that had been used there.  Rev John Boyle's grave is still marked in the churchyard.  He died in 1912  in Castlefinn and is also listed as priest there in the 1911 census.

Any information would be very much appreciated.
