Believe this is my husband's grand father who we think was born around Caltrain in 1876. The 1901 census shows him living in Caltra with his mother Bridget , brother Patrickand sister in law Maria We know he served in army ( think Irish rifles, was wounded, married in England ( Farnsworth) where he lived until the early 1930s when he died as the result of a fire ( and injuries sustained in great war)
He married in Farnworth near Bolton England aMiss Margaret O Rourke in 1916. They had 12 children. The oldest daughter Agnes had to care for the younger ones as both Mark + Margaret died within a year of one another in 1935/36. Margaret died from breast cancer.
Mark Joseph their sone born in 1923 was husbands dad > he died in 2002 from a perforated ulcwer. He was the last remaining member of that generation
