Adding to this, I have not been able to find out who Mary's parents were despite looking through a lot of family trees. I believe she was a Protestant.
I would love to find out a bit more!

I believe Mary Butler was born between 1719 and 1739. She lived in Castlemartyr Cork. She married Henry Hudson and they had 2 sons, James born between 1759 and 1764, and another son Henry. Mary was said to be Lady Mary Butler and the sister of a Duke of Ormond. This was mentioned in a will where a painting of this Duke was bequeathed to a member of the family.
