Mary's parents are unknown at this time. According to a written family history she was born in Whitegate (apparently located in Clonrush) on June 24, 1798.
She migrated to America in 1854 with at least her 3 youngest children although family lore states she had 12 children. Her husband, Owen Connally, died in Ireland in 1847. The family settled in Troy, NY where Mary died in 1818.
