Mary Kate is my grandmother, father was John Delaney and mother Bridget Shorthall. Her father was a blacksmith in Rathdowney. Mary kate was the eldest of 9 children and born in December 1889. On the 1901 census they were living at 5 Templequain, Kyle south. I am trying to trace the mother Bridget as in 1911 census only John and his son Patrick were living in living in Templequain.
