Mary Lynch first appears as a laborer in the 1850 Williston, VT census, living in the same home as Lawrence Hayes (laborer). Mary was born 6 February 1819 in Ireland. I have been unable to find a record of their marriage, but their first child Mary Ellen Hayes, was born in 1852. Followed by Margaret Elizabeth Hayes, Thomas Charles Hayes, John Hayes and Lawrence Lynch Hayes. I have not found any record of Mary Lynch prior to the 1850 Williston, Vermont census. Mary died in 1898, age 79.
Lawrence Hayes (1823-1906). Twenty years ago my father commisioned an Ireland research company to find information on him. The baptism they gave us had him baptized on 23 Jun 1823 in Kilteely and Dromkeen, Limerick, with parents John Hayes and Bridget Ryan, sponsors were James O’Brien and ???. However, his naturalization paperwork indicates he was born in Clare, Ireland.
