My grandmother, whose father Ed came as a child to the U.S. in the late 1800s was the youngest of 3 boys. His mother died shortly after arriving to the U.S. and their father had to send them to live in Montreal with aunts. Later the brothers lived in Boston. Do you know if Mary had a a brother who left for America with his wife and 3 sons?

I'm sorry I don't know anything of Mary's parents or siblings. She had ties to Hospital Parish so you could look there, but my Mary Ryan was born in the early 1800's so I doubt if they could be siblings.
