Matthew and possibly his sister and husband shows up in Canada in 1854 in Hamilton Ontario. Matthew marries in Canada (Mary Collins of Limerick) and moves his family to the Ottawa Valley to work in the lumbering industry. Matthew dies in St. Patricks Home in Ottawa in 1913. Children included John, Bridget, Mary, Thomas, Patrick, James, Matthew.
