Notes from Sr Agnes Gertrude "My Grandfather Maurice Tangney came from Scartaglyn Castleisland about 1860 and bought a farm at Ballynorig Tralee.  There he married Mary Mullins from the district.   He had 3 sons and 4 daughters.  Pat, Michael & Ned, Katie, Margaret & Mary & Hannah.  

Pat later married Mary Dunne in a farm near, Michael my father married Margaret Talbot.  Mary married Michael Huggard, Hannah Dr. John Kean, Katie Michael Dillane, Maggie John Foran"
