Did James Frain have a sister named Mary who married a Doherty in Mayo and had a child named James Doherty possibly? The DOB of James would have been congruent with Mary's who gave birth to James in the 1860s.

Hello, I wish I knew the answer to your question. On the marriage records of James Frain to Anne Marren. It lists James' father's name as Patt.
Can I ask you where in County Mayo your James Doherty was born? Roskey or Tavneena?
