Michael Lyons was the son of John Lyons, a farmer. He married Bridget Lineen and they produced 7 daughters, four of whom emigrated to the USA. Ellen Lyons born 1855 married John Ryan 26th February 1881; Mary Lyons married Michael Hill 27th Januray 1877 and we know nothing about Bridget.
