  • Hi there, I was wondering if you might like a bit of help with sharing or researching your Ancestor Michael McGrenahan. It is a really good Fanad name.

  • That is fine, I could try and help with that. You seem you have no information added on Michael McGranahan, would you mind selecting the edit and added as much in formation that you have, approx year and location of birth, death, any info on travel or possible name of siblings. Thanks Seamus

  • I forgot to add that my Grandmother on my Fathers side of the family was McGrenaghan/McElwaine living in Ballylar, Fanad.

That McGrenagahn side of the family came orginally from Gortnatra South, in West Fanad.

  • Hi Robert,

It is possible that I might be able to help you with this if you added more basic information (such as when was he born?) to your ancestor Michael McGrenahan.

  • Hi Seamus I’m married to a McGranahan. I have been digging only a little on ancestry.com. I’m guessing but on my husbands side I have it as Bryan, Humphrey, Thomas J. , John F., and then my husband Brian, and then our children. I have other siblings on the tree, but this is the line that my kids follow. Do you have the same info? Can you help me understand where Michael fits? Thank you!
