  • Hi

do you know if he had brothers who moved to Liverpool.

I know my O'Hares were born in Ireland and I think possibly Killeavy but I haven't been able to find a source

    Thanks

  • Hi, it is very possible. I do not know anything for sure about Michael's brothers although I think one name Peter was a neighboring farmer. Based on Michael's eldest sons name I have presumed his father was called John O'Hare. What time game are you thinking?

Hi and Apologies for the late answer.   My O'Hare family is as follows

Henry O'Hare born abt 1815 in Killeavy married a Margaret Farmer. I believe his father may have been Henry also but am not sure about this. Children

    Terence born 1832.

    Henry born 1833.

    Elenor born 1834.

Margaret born 1836.    Married Matthew King also from Killeavy These are my great great grandparents who moved to Liverpool. Unfortunately I can find a marriage certificate for them in either Killeavy or Liverpool but their children were all born in Liverpool.

    John born 1838.

    Hugh born 1840.

    Mary born 1843.

    Patt born 1845

I also found an Owen O'Hare who married a Mary McGuigan. How unfortunate they didn't list the father's names until much later. Their children Mary, Anne, Eliza, Catherine and Susan were all born in Ballintemple from 1841 to 1851
