Nancy Mills said she lived in the Clare and there are 2 William Mills there. One has 33 acres and the other 5. I looked for Thomas (C/S)innamon's father John who was a farmer as was Thomas. The only Thomas in Clare looks more like a laborer or maybe a weaver. Do you have any idea where Thomas and John are in Griffiths? My family said that our Mattie Mills was from "grand people in Clare" which I asssume is the man with 33 acres. She married Oliver Moles who therefore may have been the man with three mills. Oliver had 2 wives and each one married a Ballydougan Adamson, though there is some naming confusion between Mills and Moles. Were you able to follow the Mills family?. Once I saw a Sinnamon surname confused with a Symington ( no Symingtons in Clare though.). Have you run into this as a variation or do you think this was a transcriber error?

I see we have discussed this and the Portatown Thomas with 11 and 1 acres of farm land may be the man. No home is listed.
