Oliver Walsh (1809? - 1874) of Ballyspellan (Townland) Fertagh (Parish) Kilkenny (County) married Margaret Bergin,(1816? - 1854?) with whom he had seven children: Laurence (1837-1857), Catherine (1838-1902), John (1840-1898), Ellen (1842-1911), Michael (1844-1931), Patrick (1848? - 1924),and Margaret (born 1850 died before 1905). When/why/where Margaret Bergin died is unknown. Oliver emigrated with seven (7) children (date and port of departure unknown). Family lived near Princeton, New Jersey at time of 1860 US Census.
