Patrick Crowe/ Crough (abt 1799 - 1895) was married to Winifred Halloran. His townlands were Stuike, turraheen and Glenaneigh (various spellings), North West of Clonoulty. They had 4 children to my knowledge, Tim 1852, James 1854, Tom 1857, Mary 1860.
The family was in the area before that time but I don't have the evidence to prove it and the family was added to by other strands of Crowes. Our name variation includes Croagh and Croake as well as some other occasional spellings.

Other Crowes of this Parish were Connor, Chily, Darby, Michael, Catherine and Thomas all born around 1813- 1820.

Chily proves to be Ansty (Anastasia) 1817, married Pat Rahilly with 5 children in Clonoulty
Connor 1819, never marries and works as a Cooper's Assistant. Brother Patrick (Stuike) 1829, was a Cooper / Farmer and married Johanna Hayes (1866) no children found.
Margaret, 1822 married Tom O'Brien 1841
Edmond, 1824; William, 34; Thomas, 36.
