The attached article came into my possession several years ago and feel that it may help anyone looking for information on Farrell's that came from Edgeworthstown. There is a great deal of information in the article which was published following his death in 1923 at the age of 86 years.
Patrick Farrell was born March 17, 1836 in Edgeworthstown, County Langford. He and his brother John Farrell immigrated to Haldimand County, Canada in 1857 where their two sisters had previously immigrated and married prosperous farmers. Patrick later moved to Woodstock, Ontario, Canada and opened a hotel.
