Patrick fowler was born in 1785 in the town of Gowan in Kilkenny county Ireland. He married Allicia Lyster in the Catholic church of Clara in Gowan on February 5, 1807. Allicia was born in 1789 in the town of Dungarvan. Their first 5 children were born in Ireland. They then moved to Canada where they bought land grants in 1818. They lived in Kingston, Upper Canada which is called Ontario today.
