Patrick (Pat) came to the USA  on the SS Olympic, a sister ship to the Titantic, sailing from Queenstown Ireland on the 31st August 1911 and arriving at the port of New York on 5th September 1911.  He was a steerage passenger travelling with a cousin Bee Fowley from Sligo.  Patrick's passage was paid for by a cousin in Cincinnati Ohio William Fowley of 531/536 Camden Ave (Avondale) Cincinnati Ohio. On arrival he is listed as a Shoemaker he was single and 18 years old, his destination was listed as Cincinnati Ohio his next of kin was listed as John Walsh (father) of Churchhill Sligo Ireland.  He came to Cincinnati Ohio married Catherine Delaney and had seven children with her.  He worked as a shoemaker most of his life. Patrick was separated from Catherine for a number of years and after her death he married Loretta Schoenung a long time companion. He died in St Mary's Hospital (in the West End - the hospital is no longer in existence) on the 15th December 1955 after an operation that discovered that he was riddled with cancer.
