Patrick was born in Glenamaddy on March 7, 1888 to James and Ellen Reilly. He is in the 1900 and 1910 census. His siblings included Margaret, Mary, Thomas and James. He immigrated to New York in 1911 and resided in Essex, New Jersey until his death in 1966. He had one son, James Reilly who died in World War II and is buried in France.
His brothers Thomas and James moved to England. Sister, Ellen, married a Donlon.
