Patrick John Lynch was born Mar 1822 in Cloghane Parish, County Kerry, Ireland to Eugene Lynch (1800-1840) and Mary Bowler or Bauler (1805-1870). Patrick came to the US in 1847.
He married Catherine Courtenay on March 29, 1851, in Ware, Massachusetts. They had nine children in 19 years. He died on January 3, 1902, in Harmon, Illinois, having lived a long life of 79 years, and was buried there.
Catherine Courtenay was born in March 1832 in Magherabeg, County Kerry, Ireland, the daughter of Margaret O'Sullivan (1802-1862) and John "Jack" Courtenay or Cournane (1790 to 1806-1867). She married Patrick John Lynch on March 29, 1851, in Ware, Massachusetts. They had nine children in 19 years. She died on September 28, 1911, in Harmon, Illinois, having lived a long life of 79 years, and was buried there.
