My great great grandfather Patrick Kelly was born in Elphin in December 1816 to Patrick Kelly (father) and Mary Ward (mother). On his baptism record it has Curban as well as Elphin (could that be Curbane, I have noticed it is an address in Elphin). The baptism sponsors/informants are his father Patrick Kelly and Mary Clabby.
He later married Agnes Murphy (not able to identify where), moved to Ayr Scotland and that was the start of my branch of the Kelly family. Patrick died in Ayr in 1881, I was born in Ayr and and have not been able to get any information from the family there to connect back to Ireland, I now live in Greater London and I would really like to know more about my Irish ancestors and would be very grateful for any help or information that would help reconnect my Kelly family with their Irish roots.
