According to 1851 census of Canada, Patrick McGrath, (born 1803 in Co. Donegal, Ireland), was living on Fry Road in Chamcook, Charlotte, New Brunswick, Canada. Also according to said census, he arrived in 1826. His wife Lucy Fitzpatrick, born 1808 in St. John, New Brunswick, Canada (to Irish parents) and their seven children are recorded. They were still at that location up through the birth of Mary in1853 and Lucy in 1861, but not for the 1871 census. Some time after 1861 Patrick moved his family to Calais, Washington, Maine, USA and opened a grocery store. Wife, Lucy died there on 02 Sep 1884 and Patrick died on 20 Mar 1895 also in Calais, where he's buried.
