Patrick Rahilly & Abbey Hanley. They were married in Cahermore Church [which
was the Church for the Kilnamanagh Parish (or later called Allihies Parish
after the new, second Church was built circa 1845)]. Patrick & Abbey (who
was from the townland of Clogheen ---- also in what is now known as Allihies
Parish) were married in Cahermore Church by Very Rev. Fr. James Devine,
Parish Priest, on March 3rd 1835. Witnesses were Mort Shea & Timothy Hanley.
Patrick & Abbey had one son, John (in Clogheen) before, I presume, heading
for the States. John was Baptised on Dec. 14th 1835. He was Baptised in
Cahermore Church by Very Rev. Fr. James Devine P.P. Godparents were Batt
Shea & Mary Trokery (an O'Sullivan Branch-Name).
