Peter is my Great Grandfather. His parents are Michael Donohue and Mary Cassidy. He was baptised at St Mary's Cork City, same as both of his parents
He is found in the USA 1880 Census in San Francisco, CA, married to Anastasia Nash. I'm not able to verify her birth place in Ireland. Plus I can't find their marriage record. I'd love to know where they got married.
By then they are married with a 1 year old baby, my Grandfather James Joseph Donohue born 22 Apr 1879.Peter worked as a Brick Mason in Washington State and Montana, helping ot build the new towns of the Western United States.
