Peter Henry was my great-grandfather. When I was growing up I was told my Irish ancestors came from Sligo, but as I find records on Ancestry, they have marked down Boyle. We have not been able to find a birth certificate for Peter Henry, and the only birth record I can find is wrong by a couple of years, so I'm not 100% sure it relates to him. He was sent to live in England at the age of 4 and became a coal miner and a union organizer, well known in West Yorkshire for his union work.
