Peter McHale's son Edward was born in Kilmoremoy in 1847. Peter's wife was Barbara McHale, they emigrated to Wrexham in North Wales in about 1849 as they are on the 1851 census in Wrexham along with Peter's brothers Owen, John and Ned. I have been DNA'd through other McHale relations to Bishop John McHales father Patrick McHale, my Dad also told of a famous priest in the family so no smoke without fire but I don't know if my McHale line is connected truly to Bishop John McHale.
