  • This is the spelling as per the birth record (probably phonetic). Have you any suggestions as to alternative spellings?

  • No, unfortunately not, but I see a Daniel Jainge, Cooladawson, married to Margaret McCrory in 1884 so perhaps the spelling is correct.  Some of that name on shipping records to America too.
