Roberts father was Andrew and I believe his mothers name was Mary. There were 6 children Eliza, Mattie, Andrew, Robert, John and William all born in Monaghan Ireland. Andrew fought in the Napoleonoc wars and was injured. A couple of the boys were in the constabulary. The girls stayed in Ireland and Bessie Jackson their Mom who was now a widow went to US in 1854 with Robert. Andrew and I believe John were already there and William went also. Looking for insi on Andrew. Robert said he lived to be 93 and his father 103.
