He was christened on 01 Nov 1826 in RC Church, Hobart, Tasmania. He died in Aug 1884 in Kew, Melbourne, Victoria. He was buried on 22 Aug 1884 in Melbourne Cemetery, Vic. Thomas died in Yarra Bend Asylum, Fairfield then called Metropolitan Lunatic Kew.
