This man is apparently the brother of my gr-gr-gr-grandfather Arthur Calhoun, who was originally of Scottish descent but had settled in Drumquin, Tyrone County, married Eliza Jane Nethercut(t?) Calhoun and had several children including a Margaret who was my great-great-grandmother. Margaret married Edwin Smith and they had a son Leroy Smith, my great-grandfather. He married Tena (Antonina) Sempek Staroska, whom he met in Omaha, Nebraska around the turn of the century, and they had four children: Gerald, Irene (my grandmother), Evelyn, and a baby boy who did not survive past infancy. They homesteaded in South Dakota and then returned to Omaha, Nebraska, where Leroy built a house on 60th Street just north of the UP railroad tracks (and south of what is now I-80), and later built houses for all three children, who all lived with their families in that same spot until a new interchange was built there in the 1980s and the houses were all taken.
