When I try to edit the biographical information,I'm told I don't have permission to do that. ??

I would love to know more about Samuel Thompson. I do not have information on his family other than that he married Eliza Jane Lynden in County Longford on 26 Aug 1874.
He is buried with her parents in the Ballymacormack Churchyard.
From the information on his tombstone he was born abt. 1848 and died 3 Aug 1889.
Other records indicate that he was a mason and was living in Creeve in the 1870s. (This is from court records; he had hired a caretaker for a house in Gowlan and the caretaker was refusing to vacate! Since Samuel was living in Creeve at the time, this house may have belonged to his elderly father-in-law.)
