we have a patrick heagney (my great great grandfather ,on my dad's side, that was born in ireland in 1838. he came to nj sometime in the 1850's and became naturalized in 1860. he married a maragret mccarty ( not certain we believe here in the states.) we were told he is from northern ireland maybe belfast but do not know how certain that is. did your patrick heagney happen to have a son named patrick that was born around that date? that came to the united states? thanks you, amy heagney hall

I'm descended from their son Patrick, born Kilbarron approx. 1790 ,married Julia O'Brien ,had 9 children in Lorrha.
Patrick and 2nd wife Honora Tracey emigrated to Australia 1852 with his 2 youngest, Maria 17 and James 16, died 1882 in Lochinvar, NSW Australia. Patrick's son Thomas, a policeman, , my g/g,emigrated with wife Margaret Ryan in 1858, had 11 children.
