  • Susan Daunt names her parents as William Daunt and Ellen (already deceased) on her arrival record in Australia in 1864 aged 19.

    I can find a probable marriage for her parents (if Ellen Condon) in Cork in 1840 and their burials in Annagh, Limerick in 1898 and 1849 (also a probable brother Thomas b1842 in Cork - d1922 and buried with parents).

    Most Daunts seem to be from County Cork and I can find many family trees on various websites going far back to the 1500s in England, but they don't seem to link with this Daunt family in Limerick.
